Join Henry Ford Health Centralized Compliance Packaging department as a contingent Pharmacist, this role will travel from our Troy and Detroit location.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Location: Troy/Detroit
Schedule: Contingent - Rotating Shifts
The Centralized Compliance Packaging Pharmacist rotates between remote clinical operations and onsite production verification across two distinct locations. In the clinical role, the pharmacist is responsible for patient and program email communication, enrollment, medication and discharge reviews, and data verification to ensure accuracy and accountability. The pharmacist ensures timely and accurate progression of verified clinical data to the centralized compliance packaging production site. In the production role, the pharmacist verifies compliance packaging and all prescription outputs to ensure safe, accurate, and effective dispensing.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical support and serve as a subject matter resource for onsite and remote data entry technicians supporting the compliance packaging program
- Oversee and ensure timely, accurate email communication between the data entry team, compliance packaging programs, and enrolled patients
- Coordinate daily workload balancing and workflow communication between clinical operations and the centralized production site
- When assigned to the production location, safely and effectively verify bulk dispensing and compliance packaging workflows
- Provide oversight, guidance, and real‑time communication support to onsite pharmacy technician staff to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Serve as a resource to technician staff and leadership by providing training and support on compliance packaging automation hardware, software, and workflows

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. Registered pharmacist, license in the State of Michigan
- He/she should demonstrate acumen in oral and written communication skill which enables him/her to contribute effectively in the dissemination of drug information to all levels of health personnel in the system.
- Must demonstrate knowledge the ability to work effectively with others in developing improved service patients.
- He/she must posses an understanding of the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy of disease states and has the application skills needed to permit proper integration of these in monitoring drug therapy.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of pharmacy computer order entry systems is desired.
