What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Merchandiser position at Contingent Crew, LLC?
Schedule: 6:00am - 3:00pm, Tuesday-Saturday.
Servicing Location(s): (Redmond, Sunriver, Sisters and Prineville)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Navigate personal motor vehicle to various locations within assigned geographic region aiding sales reps in stocking, handling beverage cases, and re-working products represents
- Fill cold boxes and shelves with appropriate merchandise, and rotate product on an ongoing basis.
- Build and maintain in-store displays and POS (point of sale) marketing materials using schematics or written instructions
- Place price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, on floor based on planograms
- Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders from assigned accounts
- Depending on the geography, Merchandiser may service between 5-8 accounts each day.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move cases from storeroom to sales floor
- Organize and maintain back-stock area promoting a safe and efficient work environment and order accuracy for sales
- Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and managers as well as store personnel and salespeople you encounter through the day.
- Consult with store managers, buyers and/or sales representative to determine appropriate placement of displays or product
- Submit daily activity report and merchandising reports; report competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor
- Clock in and out, adhering to state labor laws
Requirements:
- 21 years of age
- Preferably 1 merchandising experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable vehicle, and clean DMV record
- Reliable personal vehicle to drive from location to location – Mileage reimbursement provided for business-related driving expenses
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Walk, stand, climb ladders, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl dail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
