Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Purchasing Intern will be responsible for the following:
- Support buyers in sourcing across North America (USA, Canada and Mexico)
- Assist with quotations, equalizations and supplier benchmarking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, Consulting and Legal) to support ongoing purchasing projects
- Vendor master requests
- Create and manage purchase orders in SAP
- Resolve PO vs. invoice discrepancies
- Managing and updating contract tools such as CLM and DocuSign
- Executing compliance documents (NDA and BPCoC)
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or other related degrees
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
- Minimum sophomore standing or higher
- Must have and maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Able to come onsite to our Fort Mill, SC Tire HQs 3 days/week (Mon-Fri)
- Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity
