The Experience You’ll Create:
Client Support: Collaborate with the accounting team to manage and support the accounting operations and needs of our largest hospitality and events client, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and accounting operations specific to the client needs.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to support operational goals and enhance overall performance.
Technical Guidance: Provide technical accounting guidance and support as needed, ensuring that all financial practices adhere to industry standards.
Financial Advisory: Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership for Continental and partner companies, offering insights and recommendations specific to this account.
Operational Efficiencies: Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and workflow.
General Accounting Activities: Manage day-to-day accounting activities in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and hospitality industry standards.
Ingredients for Thriving:
Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is beneficial and strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and demonstrated expertise in preparing accurate financial statements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, and willingness to dive into day-to-day operations.
Proven success in fast-paced, dynamic, and complex work environments.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, fostering collaboration and trust.
