At Continental Springs, our rehab team is dedicated to helping residents achieve their highest level of function and quality of life in a subacute/skilled nursing setting. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team in a flexible part-time or per diem role.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment, including diet and swallowing recommendations
Address communication, cognitive-linguistic, and functional speech deficits
Educate residents, caregivers, and staff to support carryover of therapy goals
Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and physicians to support patient outcomes
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication
Qualifications
Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure)
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab preferred
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered skills
