What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Continental Resources?

Wall has been a leader in providing open frame power sources to industries such as: Military telecommunications, medical, process control, instrumentation, computers, and peripherals. - Utilize and maintain Salesforce and Outlook Calendar; scheduling customer calls, meetings, training sessions, time spent on marketing campaign efforts, projects.
- Work with Regional Sales Managers and Marketing to expand brand awareness within all territories, with added time and focus on territories without outside representatives’ coverage.
- Re-engage with past customers that Wall is not currently receiving RFQ’s or orders from.
- Cold call/email past targeted companies and contacts previously included in marketing campaigns.
- Correspond with outside manufacturer’s representatives and customers as needed.
- Help generate target accounts for marketing campaigns.
- Travel with RSM to observe and assist in the sales process.
- Learn how to build strong relationships and become skilled at identifying and promoting Wall product, and work through the life cycle design and contract review process.
- Learn and practice the company’s sales steps by calling on new accounts and checking with existing ones per direction.
- Assist and provide back up to the Inside Sales Administrator.
o Prepare quote worksheets for regional sales managers (RSM).
o Calculate freight costs for quote worksheets using Federal Express Toolbox.
o Generate formal quote in CRM system.
o Process sales orders in ERP and close out quotes in CRM as booked.
o Update sales orders and e-mail date confirmations to customers.
o Move orders through BPM portal as each sales related task is completed.
o Process expedited requests with offshore partners and Wall manufacturing and send updated reports back to customers.
- Assist Marketing Department.
o Update existing datasheets and prepare new datasheets.
o Assist in managing email contact database including segmenting, importing/exporting, and updating regularly with appropriate information.
o Utilize Hoovers D&B to identify target companies and contacts for marketing campaigns.
- Make effective and efficient use of all company resources including personnel, materials and equipment
- Maintain necessary records and files to insure proper accountability per ISO and company policies.
- Follow established company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Operation Manager
Education: Associate Degree or two or more years of well-rounded sales experience.
Skills:
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 0 – 3 years sales/office experience
- Must possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Solid writing and editing skills
- Must be a team player and good at multi-tasking
- Desire to learn and contribute to company goals for success
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with a CRM database is helpful
