Quality Assurance Technician (2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:00PM)
This non-supervisory position, located in Delavan, Wisconsin, will ensure the products and services Continental Plastic Corporation (CPC) offers meet CPC, industry, and customer standards through the development of processes, procedures, and staff, and review of quality products with the goal of achievement of functional KPIs and strategic objectives. Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, responsibilities include:
- Inspect finished products, raw materials, supplies, equipment, and facilities for adherence to quality specs, current practices and LEAN methodology.
- Liaise with production to ensure projects are started, executed, and finished according to customer specifications.
- Communicate effectively/thoroughly to management and peers any test results or inspection findings outside of specifications.
- Manage process, label and materials review, and QA documentation control for and deviations to ensure defects are not reproduced.
- Manage product hold and release system.

Identify non-conformances in quality or practices and take or recommend appropriate corrective action within scope of knowledge.
Conduct all testing and inspection with accuracy and integrity and ensure testing is accomplished in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Education, training, and experience equivalent to an associate's degree in quality, business, or similar field with a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience (preferably in plastics manufacturing). An intermediate knowledge level of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required, as is experience working with an ERP (Epicor CMS).
- Must possess proficiency with databases (i.e. MS Access) or other management applications.
- Must possess the ability to build positive team relationships and achieve outcome-oriented objectives; working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN Enterprise) with a holistic viewpoint.
- Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities and managing time effectively and the ability to work independently, managing job orders and deadlines while maintaining an awareness of other business dependencies, when completing assigned duties.
