Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our bakery sales team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring an organized and efficient store environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will contribute to a positive shopping experience, driving sales and fostering customer loyalty.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring efficient cash handling.
• Aquire and maintain knowledge of products, sales, and product features to effectively sell items.
• Supervise stock levels and assist in inventory management, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized.
• Provide support in training new staff members on store policies and procedures.
• Communicate with team members to ensure a cohesive work environment and address customer inquiries promptly.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.

Experience

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash handling skills with familiarity in operating POS systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Proven ability to sell products effectively while providing excellent customer service.
• Enjoy interacting with customers.
