What are the responsibilities and job description for the JANITOR position at Continental Management?
Continental Management has a full and or possibly part time Janitor position available at an apartment community in Holt, MI. To work with the maintenance staff and under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager in assisting with the upkeep and general cleanliness of the physical property.
Ensure that building interiors remain clean.
Keep walkways and grounds free of debris including snow removal in the winter if needed.
Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum and clean floors of apartment and common area interiors as scheduled.
Handle all trash removal on premises and inspect all common areas for rubbish.
Assist in final cleaning of vacant unit.
Prepare lists of needed janitorial supplies and maintain proper inventory.
Perform grounds work as assigned.
Deliver notices and newsletters as required.
Other tasks/special projects as assigned.
This position requires that the individual be willing and able to work in areas necessary for the proper up-keep of the property, the extent of which to be determined by supervisors, based on the staffing available at any given time.
