This is a full-time Aerospace Inspector role located on-site at our facility in New Britain, CT. The Aerospace Inspector will perform detailed inspections of aerospace components to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications. Responsibilities include utilizing precision measurement tools, interpreting blueprints and technical documents, maintaining accurate inspection records, and collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve quality concerns.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with precision measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Hands-on knowledge of quality assurance practices, including inspections and documentation.
- Familiarity with aerospace specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry is a plus.
- AS9100 Certification or similar qualifications are highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical certifications or training preferred.
