Continental Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead operations at our property on the beautiful South Padre Island, TX. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily hotel/property operations to ensure seamless guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and front-line staff across all operational areas
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L to drive revenue growth and control costs
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and RevPAR
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, vendors, and the local South Padre Island community
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to continuously improve service quality
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of General Manager or senior hospitality leadership experience
- Proven track record in hotel operations, revenue management, and team leadership
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L statements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest relations skills
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) and hospitality software
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal resort environment
