Role Description The Domestic Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Doral, FL. This position is responsible for coordinating daily domestic freight shipments, including booking loads, arranging pick-ups and deliveries, and tracking shipments from origin to destination. The role involves communicating with carriers, customers, and internal teams to confirm schedules, resolve delays, and provide timely status updates. The Domestic Coordinator will prepare and review shipping documentation, verify rates and charges, and ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations. Daily tasks also include data entry into transportation management systems, monitoring service performance, handling basic claim or service issues, and supporting continuous process improvements within the operations team.
Qualifications
- Experience in domestic freight coordination, logistics, or transportation operations, with an understanding of shipping processes and documentation.
