The assembler will perform a variety of non-routine electronic or mechanical assembly operations where a high degree of versatility is required in the selection and operation of tools and equipment.
M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (some extended hours may be required from time to time) & some Saturdays Hourly, non-exempt
Location - need to be willing to work in both Dallas to Richardson depending on the assignments given. Eventually, we will only be in Richardson at 1401 E Lookout Drive.
Responsibilities
General tools such as soldering irons, cutters, wrenches, luggers, component bending tools, power tools and screwdrivers, vacuum equipment, RF induction heating equipment, cold test equipment, spot welding, laser welding, and heliarc welding equipment, brazing equipment, heat guns, tie wrap gun, crimpers, crimping machines, etc.

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. Responsibilities
- Performs non-routine electronic or mechanical assembly operations, where product quality is dependent upon a broader knowledge of techniques and skills.
- May assist in determining necessary assembly process in electronic or mechanical assembly.
- May determine sequencing of work and suggest methods for improving assembly, electronic or mechanical alignments, and tools and fixtures required.
- Performs any tasks necessary to assemble, tune, electronically test, weld, braze, solder, seal, leak check, or rework assemblies and subassemblies
- May construct special units, e.g. pilot run productions, minimum supervision from blueprints, schematics, sketches, written or verbal information, and works with technicians and/or engineers.
- May be required to perform all the sequential steps required to assemble or produce a production product.
- May assemble, align, calibrate, and adjust components where product quality is dependent upon precise alignment and delicate handling.
- May work in a clean room environment.
- May assist in training lower level assemblers in assembly techniques and processes.
