FDOT Certified Electrician for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Proficient in the installation of the following typical power ITS components: enclosed transformers, service disconnects, circuit breakers, load centers, panelboards, meter sockets.
- Proficient in the installation of electrical raceways: LTFMC, GRC, EMT, PVC
- Able to review, understand and follow basic electrical diagrams
- Able to perform basic troubleshooting of both wiring and hardware components
- Able to diagnose common electrical problems such as failed fuses, overloaded circuits, poor connections, faulty wiring and incorrect hardware installation
- Able to perform cable locating and components inventory
- Full health and pension benefits from Local Union

- Valid Driver’s License Required
- Willing to work in the elements year round
