Job Title: Litigation and Criminal Law Paralegal

Job Overview:

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Litigation and Criminal Law Paralegal to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite, direct hire opportunity in West Chester, PA offers the chance to work closely with legal professionals on a diverse caseload involving civil, employment, and criminal matters. The position plays an important role in case management, litigation support, and document preparation while helping ensure compliance with court requirements and procedural deadlines. Ideal candidates will thrive in a detail oriented environment, demonstrate strong organizational abilities, and enjoy collaborating with legal teams to support successful case outcomes.

Compensation:

$65,000 to $70,000 annually

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities of the Litigation and Criminal Law Paralegal:

• Support attorneys throughout various stages of litigation by coordinating case activities, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining organized case records.
• Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, filings, and supporting materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with court standards.
• Oversee administrative aspects of case management, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, coordinating communications, and facilitating client intake activities.
• Coordinate filing processes with state and federal courts, track case developments, obtain records and transcripts, and maintain accurate electronic and physical documentation.
• Deliver comprehensive litigation support by assisting with trial preparation, tracking billable time, arranging logistics, and providing general administrative assistance as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Litigation and Criminal Law Paralegal:

• Previous paralegal experience supporting litigation matters, including exposure to civil, employment, and criminal legal proceedings.
• Knowledge of court procedures, legal documentation, motion practice, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation related materials.
• Experience working with electronic court filing platforms and familiarity with filing requirements in state and federal court environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet critical deadlines.
• Proficiency in document preparation, legal research support, record management, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast paced legal setting.
