What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Medical Assistant position at CONTEMPORARY OPHTHALMOLOGY?
Assist in the assessment of patient needs through documenting medical history, medication list, assessing visual acuity and determining chief complaint. Complete all necessary documentation in the patient's medical record. Prepare rooms, equipment, and assists physicians with medical procedures. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment. This includes light cleaning, sterilizing and storing of instruments in accordance with practice policies. Stocks rooms in preparation for daily work schedule. Phlebotomy a plus.
