Experienced Mohs Histology Technician Contemporary Dermatology
$34.00-$36.00 per hour
Hyannis and Plymouth (Pine Hills)
Position Summary
Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Mohs histology technician to join a growing dermatology practice. This is a full-time position; assigned days, hours, and days off may vary based on practice needs.
Required Experience and Responsibilities
· Prior experience supporting Mohs surgery as a histology technician.
· Prepare tissue through grossing, embedding, and sectioning.
· Prepare and apply histological stains to tissue samples.
· Prepare high-quality slides for optimal microscopic review.
· Work closely with Mohs surgeons to process tissue quickly and accurately.
· Maintain accurate records for all samples processed.
· Keep laboratory equipment organized and follow appropriate safety measures.
· Experience with frozen sections and preparation of slow Mohs cases.
· Maintain current knowledge of CLIA standards and protocols.
Schedule and Travel
· Current schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM; days and hours may vary.
· Must be willing to work at both the Hyannis and Plymouth (Pine Hills) locations.
