Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented cabinet builder to join our dynamic manufacturing team on 2nd shift 2:00 pm till 12:30 am Monday thru Thursday. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality custom products, such as countertops, cabinets, and other architectural surfaces. Your expertise will ensure precise fabrication, assembly, and finishing of surfaces that meet our exacting standards. Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and finish materials with precision.
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
- Use forklift and materials handling equipment to safely move raw materials and finished products within the workspace.
- Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately using mechanical knowledge and carpentry skills.
- Assemble components seamlessly, ensuring tight joints and smooth surfaces for a polished final product.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and carpentry techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication machinery and construction processes.
- Experience with manufacturing or millwork environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of materials handling, assembly techniques, and surface finishing processes.
- Familiarity with construction principles and woodworking practices enhances your effectiveness.
