Accounting & Advisory Manager
Location: Livingston, NJ (Onsite/Hybrid)
Our Client is seeking an experienced Accounting & Advisory Manager to lead client relationships and consulting engagements within its Accounting & Advisory division. This role is heavily client-facing and requires the ability to manage accounts, serve as a trusted advisor, and clearly communicate financial performance and projections to business owners, executive teams, and boards of directors. Transaction-related work may occur periodically but is not a primary responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned advisory clients
- Supervise, coach, and develop Advisory Seniors and Associates
- Manage engagement scope, timelines, staffing, and budgets
- Ensure quality control and consistency across all advisory deliverables
- Collaborate with Partners on client strategy, proposals, and business development initiatives
- Identify opportunities to expand advisory services within existing client relationships
- Lead and manage financial consulting engagements focused on forecasting, budgeting, cash flow planning, and strategic decision support
- Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic insights to owners, executives, and boards of directors
- Review and oversee development of financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses
- Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations
- Support occasional transaction-related or due diligence engagements as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 7 years of relevant experience in public accounting, consulting, advisory, FP&A, or corporate finance
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis
- Proven experience managing client relationships and leading engagements
- CPA, CFA, or similar professional designation preferred
- Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements and priorities
Salary : $125,000 - $200,000
