Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Technical Proposal Coordinator performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

• Successful candidate will be part of a proposals team supporting the process analyzer integration, electrical engineering, and business development teams by executing bid, pricing, and proposal strategies.
• Write, edit and design proposal content for key pursuits that align with Contech’s objectives and reinforces specific value proposition.
• This position reviews and implements Request for Quote requirements and manages the proposal life cycle process (RFQ to Submittal) and associated deliverables to ensure internal and customer proposal requirements are completed on time.
• Enters RFQ into tracking software, Internal proposal log, Salesforce etc. Develops proposal directories and manages information input, eg., Vendor quotes, Client RFQ and correspondence, internal documents required for RFQ response.
• May also be responsible for leading interface with various internal and external stakeholders on bid proposal and project planning teams, communicating and presenting effectively and with influence to team members.
• Create proposal site, organize files and manage work process to ensure all information is captured and up-to-date.
• Work closely with different business units where required on multi-faceted proposals.
• Schedule internal and external technical and management review meetings.
• Create response matrix and establish deadlines to ensure that proposal deliverables are completed; troubleshoot issues with team members as they arise
• Print, bind and package bid documents that require a physical submission
• Ability to learn customer submission systems and navigate team through electronic submissions when required.
• Incorporates Contech brand standards in all communications.
• Other projects as assigned by leadership, including the creation of complex graphics and sales support documentation that is tailored to specific customers and/or pursuits.
• Order and maintain inventory of Business Development handouts e.g., Contech pamphlets and branded give-away items.

Requirements

The Proposal Coordinator requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Associates degree in Engineering, Journalism, English, Communications, or similar or 8 -10 years of direct experience in lieu of degree.
• 4 to 5 years of professional experience in technical writing, communications, marketing and/or design background.
• Strong computer/software skills, specifically MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, SharePoint.
• Previous work on tenders or bids in the systems integration business.
• Previous experience related to process analyzer integration proposals is preferred.
• Previous experience related to industrial modular buildings (E-houses, Power Distribution Buildings, Remote Instrument Enclosures, Analyzer Houses) proposals is preferred.
• Previous work experience in Sales, Marketing, or associated roles.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
• Experience in the Oil and Gas or Integration industries.
• Experience prioritizing tasks and working to tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate in a high stress, fast paced environment.

Working conditions are as follows:

· Position Type: Full-Time

· Core Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30pm

· Overtime: Occasionally (Straight time rate)

· Range: Permanent

· Travel: Minimal

· Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
