Description
The Marketing and Event Coordinator is responsible for executing strategic marketing initiatives, coordinating client-focused events, and supporting individual financial advisors in their outreach efforts. This role also ensures all marketing activities comply with compliance and firm standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and vendor relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing
- Coordinate production and manage marketing brochures, handouts, flyers, signage, and branded materials.
· Handle advisor requests for marketing materials, including customization, and timely distribution of brochures, flyers, digital assets, and branded collateral.
- Maintain a centralized repository of marketing assets for firm-wide and advisor use.
- Order and manage inventory of promotional items, including tracking and distribution.
- Maintain relationships with marketing vendors such as printers and promotional suppliers.
· Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to align advisor marketing efforts with firm-wide social media and email marketing strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and coordinated campaign execution.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to align event strategy with broader brand and campaign goals.
Event Coordination
- Plan and execute client seminars, webinars, advisor-hosted events, and networking functions.
- Coordinate and support in-person CWA employee events, including planning logistics, managing communications, and ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
- Support advisors in organizing personalized client events, including logistics, invitations, and follow-up.
- Coordinate with venues, caterers, and other event vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor event budgets and timelines, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide feedback to advisors and leadership.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
- Submit all marketing and event-related materials for compliance review in accordance with Cambridge
- Monitor the status of submissions and ensure timely approval before distribution or publication.
- Assist with compliance documentation and approvals for advisor-specific and firm-wide materials.
- Maintain accurate records of all compliance submissions and approvals in a centralized archive.
- Stay up to date on regulatory changes affecting marketing and advertising in the financial services industry.
Qualifications:

- Experience in marketing, communications, event planning, or related fields preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms such as WordPress, Constant Contact, social media management, and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to produce high-quality work with minimal errors.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and marketing platforms.
- Must be willing to oversee and attend 1-4 events per month after hours and on weekends.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the year.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, or related roles.
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns, digital content management, and event planning preferred.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
- Experience with marketing platforms such as WordPress, social media scheduling tools, Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
- Previous experience in financial services or a regulated industry is advantageous but not required.

Salary : $42,000 - $47,000
