DRIVER - VA BEACH

Job Summary:  

In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading bikes, accessories, store equipment and various pacakages into a Ford transit (or similar) cargo van and delivering them to various locations within 2-to-3-hour delivery range. Additionally, you will need to navigate and drive in tight spaces with precision and care. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Safely load and unload bikes into a Ford transit (or similar) cargo van using appropriate equipment and techniques. 
• Ensure that bikes are securely fastened and protected during transport to prevent damage. 
• Drive with caution, especially in congested areas and tight spaces. c
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and roadworthiness. 
• Keep van interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
• Communicate effectively with stores to make sure bikes get delivered in a timely manner 
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies always. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
• Proven experience as a truck or van driver. 
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, including bikes, with ease. • Strong spatial awareness and ability to drive confidently in tight spaces. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety. 
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. 
• Familiarity with retail environment(s) and point of sale software a plus
• Starting pay is $18/hr. Final pay is based on experience.
