Position Summary
The Production Line Worker is responsible for safely producing, packaging, labeling,
inspecting, and palletizing food products while maintaining the highest standards of food
safety, quality, sanitation, and productivity. Employees are expected to work efficiently in a
fast-paced food manufacturing environment while following GMP, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and
company procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
Production
- Operate assigned production equipment safely.
- Load raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Assemble products according to production specifications.
- Inspect products throughout production.
- Package, label, and palletize finished goods.
- Assist with equipment changeovers.
- Report production issues immediately.
Food Safety & Quality
- Follow all GMP, HACCP, and SQF procedures.
- Perform required quality inspections.
- Prevent product contamination.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
Warehouse Support
- Stage materials and remove finished pallets.
- Operate pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain organized work areas.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Sanitation
- Clean equipment during changeovers.
- Perform daily housekeeping.
- Support the Master Sanitation Schedule.
Safety
- Wear required PPE.
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Use proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable attendance
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred
- 1 year food manufacturing experience
- Warehouse experience
- Pallet jack experience
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP
