What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Manager position at Container Research Corporation?
Container Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 65 years in business, seeks a Quality Assurance Manager. The QA Manager will oversee and supervise all employees and activities of CRC’s quality inspection department as well as maintain, manage, and improve CRC’s AS9100-compliant Quality Management System.
The right candidate will have:
- 7-10 years in a senior quality position
- 3 years of experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment
- High level of proficiency with AWS welding codes and workmanship standards
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Previous supervisory experience
- GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) experience
- Proficiency with all inspection tools (e.g. depth gauges, calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.)
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
Experience with the aerospace or defense industries, sheet metal fabrication, Lean Six Sigma, or ERP/MRP systems are pluses, as are ASQ certifications.

Pay rate: $85,000 - $110,000
