Real Estate Title Agent V

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough understanding of various conveyance documents, land related contracts and agreements, including but not limited to, fee simple, rights-of-way, leases, easements, licenses, permits and releases.
• Perform internal and external due diligence to ensure accuracy and completeness of land rights or to identify and bring forward deficiencies requiring curative action
• Ability to plan and organize workload, adjusts to changing priorities, and work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Perform internal and external due diligence to ensure accuracy and completeness of land rights. or to identify and bring forward deficiencies requiring curative action.
• Effectively use Owner’s established policies, procedures, processes to perform work.

Experience:

• Knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms.
• Through knowledge of how to read and interpret land legal descriptions.
• Must be proficient in land title research in courthouse and other government offices of record and be able to prepare chain of title.
• Prepare and utilize spreadsheets to support Real Estate efforts.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Right of Way/Real Estate industry with at least 1 year working in the capacity of a Title Agent.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $40- $50hr
