What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Consumers Energy?
This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy. This is a part-time role working onsite in Jackson, Michigan Monday-Thursday for 15-20 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
Organize and prepare meeting spaces, ensuring rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
Comfortable driving short distances within the Jackson area.
Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Maintain and restock the break area.
Complete weekly shopping trips to local Jackson-area stores to replenish office supplies.
Perform minimal local driving to stores and restaurants as needed.
Assist with light office tasks as assigned to support daily operations.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage time effectively.
Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors.
Ability to lift and carry light supplies (e.g., snack boxes, beverages).
Education:
High School Diploma/GED
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 13.39- $17.86/hr
