Azure Monitoring Specialist

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This is a hybrid role to Jackson, Michigan and requires reporting onsite 3 days a week.

• 
  Configure and manage Azure Monitor to ensure proactive monitoring of cloud infrastructure and applications
• .Develop and maintain alerting, logging, and dashboards to support IT operations and business continuity
• .Integrate monitoring solutions across hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud systems
• .Collaborate with IT teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system reliability
• .Leverage SolarWinds and Power BI to design and manage dashboards for system health and performance reporting
• .Document monitoring processes and standards to ensure compliance and repeatability

.Requirements

• :Expertise in Azure Monitor configuration, management, and troubleshooting
• .Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring and performance optimization
• .Experience with SolarWinds for network and system monitoring
• .Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development for visualization and reporting
• .Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret monitoring data and recommend improvements
• .Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional IT teams
• .Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• .Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Security Engineer) preferred
• .Additional training or certifications in monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Power BI) considered a plus

)The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 52-$62/h
