Job Overview
At Consumer Health Solutions (CHS), we help with one of the biggest issues people face today: Health care costs. CHS helps to reduce health care costs for the employees of hundreds of companies throughout the New England area. We do this by offering employee benefit plans that include several tax-free spending accounts that can be used for healthcare and other expenses.
We’re looking for a Health Benefits Specialist who will serve as a consumer advocate to help employees with account questions. In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your time speaking directly with consumers (the employees), helping them understand their benefits, resolve claims issues, and make the most of their benefit.
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls from consumers seeking assistance with FSA, HRA and HSA benefits, explaining plan details clearly and empathetically (about 2/3 of your time)
- Research and resolve claims and billing issues
- Communicate with internal claims and eligibility teams and client HR as needed
- Respond to member and client emails in a timely, professional manner
- Document interactions and track issues in our CRM system
- Identify patterns or recurring issues and help improve internal processes
- Provide clear, caring guidance to members navigating complex situations
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every individual served.

Experience required:
- Health insurance, benefits, or claims experience
- Medical billing or healthcare office experience
- Customer service or call center experience
- Any role involving problem-solving for clients or customers

Work Environment
- We are moving to a new office in Andover, MA (just off Rt. 93, ~30 minutes from Manchester, NH)

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
