meeting with clients in their homes and communities, developing skills related to self-advocacy, empowerment, and community connections, and attending team meetings. Responsibilities include documenting in an EHR, creating treatment plans, transporting youth, and collaborating with care teams.
Qualifications require a high school diploma, youth peer advocate credential, and lived experience with mental health or related challenges. Prior experience working with children, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid NYS driver's license are essential. Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred. Physical mobility and travel are involved.
