Phlebotomist I

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist I to join our healthcare team in Grand Island, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients with care and professionalism to ensure accurate laboratory testing results.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Performing venipuncture and capillary collections following established protocols
• Preparing and labeling specimens accurately for laboratory analysis
• Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and infection control standards
• Documenting patient information and routing specimens appropriately
• Assisting with inventory management and supplies procurement
