Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide compassionate service at all entry points.
- Assist with processing prescriptions, managing phone and in-person inquiries, and directing patients appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment to meet company and regulatory standards.
- Support team members to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Use pharmacy computer systems to complete tasks such as searching profiles, managing prescriptions, and inventory management.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and execute company programs.
- Complete required training and exams, and adhere to all policies, including HIPAA and drug sales regulations.
- Finalize sales, accurately transcribe prescription data, and maintain inventory levels.
- Answer calls professionally, resolve customer concerns, and file prescriptions daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-6 months of experience preferred.
- Eligible to obtain pharmacy technician registration with the state board.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and communicate effectively.
- At least 18 years old.
