Key Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with menu choices within diet restrictions
- Ensuring patients receive nourishment and notifying RNs of any issues
- Supporting meal set-up, menu completion, and tray assessments
- Communicating with clinical and production teams regarding patient needs
- Following department procedures for ordering nutrition support products
- Upholding hospital and department policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; experience accepted in lieu
- Healthcare experience and customer service skills preferred
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines, basic computer skills, and effective communication
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, lifting, and other movements
- Strong interpersonal skills and adherence to standards
