Role & Responsibilities: Provide diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans to enhance patients' functional abilities, utilizing therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and other adaptive devices as prescribed. Administer therapy for neurological, traumatic brain injury, and developmental conditions, aiming to improve motor skills, cognitive functions, and independence. Conduct home assessments, educate patients and families on proper techniques, and participate in patient support groups. Maintain accurate records, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure compliance with resident rights and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association, and strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptive equipment tools is required. Experience preferred. Ability to make independent decisions, evaluate social situations objectively, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team is essential.
