Role Overview: The Nuclear Medicine Tech supervises personnel, plans and manages operations within the department, and ensures effective patient care. They lead meetings, foster teamwork, maintain equipment and inventory, and coordinate maintenance to optimize uptime.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluates staff performance, motivates team, communicates decisions impacting other departments, analyzes data to solve issues, and uses resources efficiently. Supports safety protocols, adheres to ethical standards, and completes assigned duties.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program with at least 2 years hospital experience. Must hold ARRT (R), (N), (T), or NMTCB certification, and Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Department of Health. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
Additional Duties: May handle radiopharmaceuticals, support organizational missions, ensure safety, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
