We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our General Cardiology team at a new medical center.
Key responsibilities include: providing comprehensive inpatient cardiac care, performing history and physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, collaborating with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, conducting hospital rounds, follow-up visits, discharge planning, participating in outpatient clinics, educating patients and families, and managing chronic cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, current Georgia licensure or eligibility, board certification as NP (AGACNP) or PA-C, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience in cardiology or inpatient care. Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills are essential.
