Seeking a child respite provider for a young boy who is compassionate, attentive, patient, and committed to helping a child thrive through consistent routines and guidance.
Location: Hobart, WI
Hours: 20 hours a month, weekday afternoons after 3:30 pm, and weekend hours
Compensation: $14.13 per hour
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Preference to those with previous experience working with individuals with support needs.
- Comfortable with pets in home.
Duties:
- Respite care is to be conducted in child’s home -or out in the community. Community outings are encouraged.
- Assist with transportation from school back home or out to community activities.
- Work on safety skills and transitions in home and out in the community.
- Assist with organizational skills and check in on schoolwork.
- Build on social and communication skills
- Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys taking care of his kitties, going to the mall to browse, getting a bite to eat, riding around on his electric bike, and so much more.
