What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Care Provider position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
Respite care is an excellent way for primary caregivers to get a much-needed break! Consumer Direct Care Network works with the Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program to help children with disabilities get respite providers. Are you interested in working with children with disabilities? Do you have some extra free time throughout the month? We would love to hear from you if you answered yes to any of these questions.
~~ An Ideal candidate must live in Chippewa Falls or surrounding area! Caregiver for a young boy, which would take place in your home and/or out in the community.

Wage: $13.98/hour
** Hours/Desired Schedule:
- Every other week
- Monday-Friday, 2:30-5:00 pm (may vary slightly based on school bus schedule)
- Snow days/no school days
- Approx. 12.5 hours/week
- Occasional weekend
** Preferred Qualifications:
- Patient & Thoughtful in Speech and communication
- He is very energetic and would do best with someone who can give him focused attention
** The Member Enjoys:
- PLAY (he likes baseball, swimming, etc.)
- Companionship
** Requirements:
- Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
