We are looking for a patient, dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to support Saleh, a nonverbal individual who needs constant supervision, hands-on assistance, and a consistent routine.
This position is primarily for late-night and weekend care. We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable working late-night hours and weekends and can provide consistent, reliable care.
Responsibilities
- Provide constant supervision and ensure Saleh’s safety
- Assist with bathroom needs and personal hygiene
- Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding
- Cook different meals because Saleh is a very picky eater
- Clean up after meals and food-related messes
- Play with him and keep him engaged
- Take him for car rides and walks
- Provide calm support during behavioral challenges
- Help maintain his daily routine and comfort
- Complete daily laundry and housekeeping related to his care
- Clean and tidy areas after activities, meals, and personal care
Who We Are Looking For
We strongly prefer someone with experience caring for nonverbal individuals, individuals with behavioral needs, or someone who requires close/constant supervision.
The right caregiver must be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Patient and compassionate
- Comfortable with personal care and hygiene assistance
- Comfortable with late-night and weekend shifts
- Willing to help with both caregiving and related housekeeping
- Able to commit to a consistent schedule
- Trustworthy and respectful of Saleh and our family
