Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Mid-Ohio Valley (CCCS) is seeking a highly motivated and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our agency, responsible for greeting clients, answering calls, and performing a variety of administrative tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. Must have good communication skills while being friendly and upbeat as the first point of contact for the agency. Must be timely and organized. Must have great motivation to go above and beyond for all clients and our team. Must be trustworthy. Must be able to learn the agency’s client management system, postage machine, and other software programs as well as have a current working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. Must be willing to work with others on special projects when needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Open and close the office during normal business hours
- Greet clients, future clients, partner agency representatives, board members, and all stakeholders calling and/or coming into the office courteously
- Answer and transfer calls through a multi-line phone system
- Open and sort all mail and distribute to appropriate staff person in a timely manner
- Accept payments, issue receipts, and record them in the correct account’s receipt book
- File client paperwork for agency personnel in a timely manner, both manually and electronically
- Assist clients with general information on the phone or in person
- Align the clients with their appropriate representative
- Assist creditors with general information
- Gather intake information when scheduling appointments
- Decipher the correct service the client is seeking based off their needs
- Mail appointment packet to clients when the service requires
- Confirm appointments
- Follow-up with cancelled and no-show appointments
- Provide appropriate appointment packet and authorization forms to clients when first arriving for their appointment
- Notify counselor when their appointments have arrived
- Prepare credit reports for individuals
- Provide completion certificates for online education
- Assist in preparing checks for mailing
- Assist individuals at teller window with check pick up, information drop-off, or other requests.
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
