Role Description
We are seeking a part-time Housing Counselor to join our mission-driven team. The ideal candidate has a genuine desire to help people, make a positive impact in their community, and work collaboratively with like-minded professionals. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one counseling to clients on housing issues, debt management, mortgage delinquency, and foreclosure prevention; assessing client needs and developing action plans to improve financial stability; maintaining accurate records in compliance with HUD and agency standards; and working with community partners to support client success. Qualified candidates will be bilingual in Spanish/English. Knowledge or experience in personal finance, real estate, or mortgages is preferred. The position requires an associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
