Summary Of Essential Job Functions
- Define and execute the API strategy and roadmap to support headless functionality across all MVNE domains, including provisioning, billing, OSS, ERP, payments, inventory, and dealer compensation.
- Architect and manage API Gateway infrastructure within AWS, leveraging AWS SAM for IaC and Python for serverless compute.
- Establish and enforce API governance frameworks, including versioning, documentation standards, lifecycle policies, and developer onboarding.
- Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of APIs through robust authentication, authorization, throttling, and monitoring practices.
- Apply TM Forum standards (e.g., Open APIs, SID, eTOM) to ensure interoperability, consistency, and alignment with telecom industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align API architecture with business goals and technical constraints.
- Lead integration efforts across third-party systems and internal platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and service orchestration.
- Provide architectural oversight and guidance across all MVNE functions, ensuring consistency and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in API management, cloud-native architecture, and telecom systems.
Demonstrated Experience
- 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on API design and management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS API Gateway, AWS SAM, and Python Lambda functions in production environments.
- Proven track record in API governance, including security protocols (OAuth2, JWT), rate limiting, and SLA enforcement.
- Deep understanding of MVNE architecture and telecom systems, including OSS/BSS, provisioning, and subscriber lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of TM Forum frameworks, including Open APIs, SID (Shared Information/Data model), and eTOM (Enhanced Telecom Operations Map).
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and headless architecture principles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway Advanced features).
- Familiarity with GraphQL, RESTful standards, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Telecom certifications or experience with MVNO/MVNE platforms.
- Background in designing APIs for high-throughput, low-latency environments.

- Minimum Salary: $138,600
- Maximum Salary: $200,550
