Summary
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in traditional Systems Administration and modern infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, Azure Local, virtualization, Rubrik, and Active Directory administration, and enjoys taking ownership of technical challenges. We're looking for someone who is a self-starter—someone who takes the initiative to investigate problems, research solutions, and continuously learn new technologies without waiting for direction. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving enterprise infrastructure while helping drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Azure Cloud, Azure Local, virtualization platforms, and Rubrik backup solutions.
• Manage Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and Group Policy.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and systems issues.
• Support enterprise Windows server and hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement infrastructure improvements and new technologies.
• Maintain system documentation and support security and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of Systems Administration or Systems Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Local.
• Experience administering virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, or similar).
• Experience managing Rubrik backup and recovery solutions.
• Strong Active Directory administration experience, including user accounts, security groups, and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting Windows Server infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with the initiative to research problems, develop solutions independently, and continuously learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104 or similar).
• PowerShell or infrastructure automation experience.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• Enterprise networking and security knowledge.
• Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical environments.
