Summary
Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of consumer and safety products, is seeking a senior-level Cloud Operations Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting critical enterprise applications and global operations. This role requires a highly self-driven, hands-on engineer who can operate at both the architecture and execution levels, partnering across teams to deliver complex cloud initiatives from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure architecture, operations, and modernization efforts across AWS and Azure environments.
• Design, implement, and support highly available, secure, and scalable cloud platforms and services.
• Drive cloud automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud, networking, security, and performance issues.
• Partner with application, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver business-critical projects and operational improvements.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on in engineering, implementation, and production support activities.

• 8 years of cloud infrastructure, operations, or platform engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with AWS cloud services and architecture; working knowledge of Azure.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar), automation, and DevOps practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments with high availability and security requirements.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Proven ability to independently lead and execute mission-critical projects in fast-paced environments.

• AWS and/or Azure certifications.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
