Summary
The Senior IAM Security Architect designs and implements secure identity and access solutions across enterprise systems. This role ensures IAM principles are integrated into all technology platforms and supports secure authentication, authorization, and access control for users, systems, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and review secure architectures for cloud, platform, and application solutions.
• Define IAM standards and patterns for authentication, authorization, and federation.
• Partner with engineering teams to implement MFA, adaptive, and risk-based access controls.
• Identify architectural gaps and propose mitigation or improvement plans.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on secure design practices and IAM best practices.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and federation protocols.
• Experience with SCIM provisioning, attribute flows, and token design (claims/scopes).
• Hands-on understanding of JWT/mTLS validation, token exchange, and session security.
• Solid background in IAM security plus one or more areas: API, cloud, data, or network security.
• 5 years of IT experience, including architectural or advanced engineering roles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document security designs and patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP or GIAC strongly preferred.

Bonus Skills

• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy identity systems.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and secure design reviews.
• Cloud security certifications ( AWS, Azure, OCI, CCSP).
• Knowledge of IAM automation, zero trust architecture, or AI-driven access management.
