Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Controller located in Ponca City, OK. Controller is primarily responsible for the performance of job tasks involving mathematical skills, financial and statistical recordkeeping systems and related transactions.
Essential Job Duties
· Track accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Bank Reconciliation
· Payroll Processing
· Handle employee and client inquiries
· Create requisitions and purchase orders
· Complete basic data entry
· Participate in preparation for the annual tax return
· Review of the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies
· Complete budgets
· Assist with Quotes
· Perform all daily, weekly, monthly accounting functions
· Track Credit Card Expenses
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Accurate data entry skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multi-task with excellent mathematical skills required
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
· Minimum of five years’ experience in an accounting department or related accounting position
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Remain flexible, adaptable with multiple duties and frequent interruptions
· Highly organized with strong quantitative abilities
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Accurate data entry skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multi-task with excellent mathematical skills required
