Restaurant & Bar is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and help lead a high-performing hospitality team. Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager and Owner in overseeing all front-of-house and overall operations
- Develop and roll out proper steps of service for the host, service and bar team members
- Lead, coach, and develop service staff to maintain high standards of hospitality
- Ensure exceptional guest service and handle escalated guest concerns professionally
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and cost control
- Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless FOH/BOH communication
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, labor, and expenses
- Step in to manage daily operations in the General Manager’s absence
Qualifications
- 4 years of management experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage teams in a high-volume or upscale environment
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and guest relations
- Experience with scheduling, POS systems, and basic financial reporting
- Passion for hospitality and team development
- Bilingual Spanish speaker is a plus
