Job Summary:
We are seeking a registered, skilled and knowledgeable Sleep Technologist to join our team. As a Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic evaluations and providing support in various medical procedures. Your expertise in medical terminology, vital signs, respiratory therapy, and anatomy knowledge will contribute to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and collect patient medical history
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret test results
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and record patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Certification as a Technologist or relevant professional certification
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
