Job Requirements
Experienced in heavy civilhighway projects specific to roads and
bridges. Senior Inspection regarding all bridge structures. (FHWA-NBI)
AZ experience within AZDOT/MCDOT
Perform contract item inspections for ensuring compliance with plans and
specifications on all phases of highway andbridge construction projects.
Inspects work standards: production, productivity, and quality
standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process
improvement.
Approves incoming materials by auditing adherence to specifications,
conduct of visual and measurement tests, and materials rejection.
Approves in-process production by auditing adherence to specifications,
conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required
adjustments to production personnel.
Approves finished products by auditing adherence to specifications,
conduct of visual and measurement tests, return of products for re-work
and waster reports; inputting data into quality database.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
This is a full-time position primarily in the field on a highway/bridge
QA Construction site.
