Job Summary: This job requires repair and maintenance of tires on on and off road equipment at various hours, but generally Monday-Friday during daylight hours, as required to meet the needs of contract fulfillment. All tire service technicians are responsible to maintain a clean and safe working environment. This job is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and at night on occasion.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and perform all tasks in a safe and efficient way according to policies and procedures
- Remove and replace tires on heavy machinery and trucks
- Troubleshoot and repair tires on heavy machinery and trucks
- Climb on and off trucks and equipment
- Work in awkward positions for prolonged periods of time
- Reach overhead for prolonged periods of time while manipulating objects
- Grip, pinch and manipulate objects of various dimensions and weights with one or both hands
- Maintain a clean working area
- Operate all equipment used to repair machines tires
- Must be able to meet insurance requirements to drive company owned vehicles
- Perform any additional work deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Foreman
