What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Contract Recruiter position at Construction Strategies?
Contract Recruiters – 100 Retained Data-Center Roles, 14-Month Pipeline
We are a nationwide commercial-construction recruiting firm.
Two of our long-standing clients have just been awarded more than $20 billion in data center projects; we have been retained for the next 14 months to fill over 100 senior roles across 9 cities.
I require three to four contract recruiters who will work the full year.
Your sole measure of success is a disciplined, weekly cadence of directly recruited candidates—talent pulled from competitors, thoroughly vetted, and delivered with concise, compelling write-ups.
Each recruiter will own specific roles in specific geographies.
I handle all client presentations and offer negotiation.
You receive steady weekly pay for consistent, high-caliber submissions. No commission, no offer-stage turbulence.
Who I am
A direct, fair, and mature partner. You will always know where you stand. I never play games with anyone’s livelihood—except to slip in an unannounced bonus when it is earned.
Who you are:
• A seasoned hunter with a proven record of permanent placements—third-party agency or internal corporate experience, making difficult technical hires.
• Commercial-construction fluency is a strong advantage, but not required; what is non-negotiable is your ability to source, engage, and compel passive senior talent.
• You qualify with precision, speak with candidates on phone and video, and deliver only the best—never “wood.” (Boiler Room, 2000 – IYKYK)
What I am NOT looking for:
• Job Board, post-and-pray tacticians.
• Phone-averse forwarders.
• Volume merchants who sacrifice quality.
• Burned-out clock watchers.
Who I DO want
• Undervalued recruiters ready to reclaim their edge through methodical excellence.
• Professionals who have persuaded content senior leaders to consider what they swore they would never leave.
• Unbridled passion and a sense of mission
• Mandatory for consideration, a cover letter—tell me, in your own voice, why this assignment is yours.
• Applications without a tailored cover letter will be deleted unread.
